Brian B. Bolton
Mr. Bolton is a partner with the firm of Bolton, Helm & Augustine, LLP. Mr. Bolton received his Bachelors Degree from Florida State University, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Miami and Juris Doctor from University of Florida. Mr. Bolton is Florida Bar Board Certified in Workers’ Compensation Law, as well as AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Bolton practices in the area of workers’ compensation, criminal law and church law. Mr. Bolton has served multiple terms on the Florida Bar Workers’ Compensation Board Certification committee, as well as serving one term as Chair. He has also served on the Workers’ Compensation Section Rules Advisory committee. Mr. Bolton has served as an Adjunct Law Professor for Workers’ Compensation Law at Barry University School of Law and is an accredited lecturer for insurance certification courses and conducts several seminars and continuing education courses through out the year.

George A. Helm III
George A. Helm, III is a Board Certified Workers’ Compensation attorney and is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell. Mr. Helm has been practicing workers' compensation defense since 1988, and since 2001, specifically focusing on the defense of municipal workers' compensation claims. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida with high honors in 1985 and graduated from the University of Florida College of Law in 1988. Mr. Helm is the managing partner of Bolton, Helm & Augustine, LLP, and past lecturer on the presumption laws at the Worker’s Compensation Forum, the Florida Worker’s Compensation Convention and Barry College of Law.

Philip R. Augustine
Mr. Augustine is a partner in the firm of Bolton, Helm & Augustine, LLP. He has spent his legal career representing employers, carriers, TPA’s and self-insureds in the defense of their workers’ compensation claims. Mr. Augustine received his B.A. from the University of Florida and J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. Mr. Augustine is a member of the Florida and Georgia Bars and has represented workers’ compensation clients for over 20 years. He is Florida Bar Board Certified in Workers’ Compensation Law and has served as Chairman of the Florida Bar Workers’ Compensation Board Certification committee. Mr. Augustine currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. Mr. Augustine has served as treasurer, and currently serves as Chair-elect of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Florida Bar. Mr. Augustine has also served as member and Chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Rules Advisory Committee. Mr. Augustine also serves on the Georgia Bar Board of Governors as one of the two out-of-state representatives. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Augustine is the proud father of two and he and his wife enjoy traveling as well as attending Gator football games with family and friends. He is also an accredited lecturer for insurance certification courses and conducts several seminars and continuing education courses through out the year.

Mr. Boring is an associate in the firm of Bolton, Helm & Augustine, LLP. Brian T. Hanley
Brian T. Hanley has practiced law primarily in the areas of workers’ compensation defense,appellate practice, and civil litigation for over fifteen years. Mr. Hanley pursued undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science. He was named an Anderson Scholar and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Subsequently, he graduated from the University of Florida College of Law. While in law school, he completed an internship with the Honorable Jonathan D. Ohlman, Judge of Compensation Claims for the Gainesville District. Mr. Hanley represents employers and insurance carriers throughout the state of Florida and is an accredited lecturer for insurance certification courses.
Courtney C. Bahe
Ms. Bahe is an attorney with Bolton, Helm & Augustine, LLP and has spent her legal career representing employers, carriers, TPAs and self-insureds in defense of their workers’ compensation claims. She received her B..A. with honors from the University of Florida and her law degree from Mercer University. Ms. Bahe is a member of the Florida Bar and has represented workers’ compensation clients for almost 20 years. She currently serves as coeditor of the News and 440 Report, the quarterly newsletter for the worker’s compensation section of the Florida Bar. Ms. Bahe lives in Winter Springs with her husband and two children. She is an accredited lecturer for insurance certification courses and conducts several seminars and continuing education courses throughout the year.
Brooke A. Shegda
Ms. Shegda is an associate attorney in the firm of Bolton, Helm & Augustine, LLP. Ms. Shegda has practiced law primarily in workers’ compensation defense and family law. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Florida in 2010. Ms. Shegda attended law school at Florida A&M University College of Law where she received her Juris Doctor in 2019. Ms. Shegda is a member of the Florida Bar. Prior to becoming licensed to practice law, Ms. Shegda worked as a paralegal with the firm for over 13 years. As a paralegal, Ms. Shegda assisted on worker’s compensation claims, family law cases, as well as wills and trusts administration. She has also participated as a hearing officer for the Seminole County Prosecution Alternatives for Youth Program.
